The Eco-Pods were Gigantic Pods launched into space with the intention to help preserve and reimplement nature back into the damaged earth.

History

The Eco-pods were the second half of Eden Project, beside the Arks. They Were filled with Seeds and Life. The Plan was for the Ecopods to fall before the Arks opened up to the Wasteland, As soon as they fell, They Spread seeds all around, And Naturally, Gigantic forests, Swamps, Grass plains and other ecosystems began to flourish, They Began to naturally spread, For miles upon miles around, Turning the Deadlands into the Thriving Ecosystems we know today. Its also of Consideration that maybe, Animals were Cryogenically Kept Inside of these ecopods when they fell, And they were released into the wastes to Populate it with Food for the Original Arkists to hunt and Eat and Butcher, Giving the Population a Brand new Food source. The reason we have Mutants and Stuff like this, I believe, Is because of the Rapid mutations From the Rays of Radiation leading from the sun through a Broken and far less strengthened Ozone Layer, Thats why all of the plants have adapted in strange ways.




But not all Ecopods just carried Seeds and life, Some were loaded up with Medical Knowledge, E.g Recordings of Surgeries, Medical Journals Etc, Along with Information about possibly Producing Ammunition in Large Quantities, How To butcher Animals, How to grow Crops, And general knowledge about the world, Along with data Dr. Kvasir needed, Whitch may tell us that they also housed incredibly Useful Information about Genetical Engineering and other Information.

The original plan was to land the Ecopods prior to the Ark's emergence, but the Authority delayed their deployment, until the Resistance activated all the buried Arks emergence, and also, accidentally, deployed the Eco-pods. All landed successfully, except for ECO-15, which stayed in orbit, for unknown reasons, and they restored the vegetal life on the Wastelands.

Rage 2

Decades after the Pods descent, all weren't functional, or even intact, except for the one on Vineland. Most have been damaged on impact and have been almost scrapped, reduced to their metal skeletons. As part of the fight against the Authority, the Ranger Walker, from the Eden Space Center, made land ECO-15 to allow Dr. Anton Kvasir the use of his computers.

With that, there are no more known Eco-pods remaining in orbit.

Notes

Several EcoPods, like the Vineland and Greenhaven Ecopod, have landed above or beside an Ark, so maybe they were attracted by them.
